This year's Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday, 22nd July 2021 on the Mainau Island. Information on how to get there, registration and the agenda can be found in the invitation letter. If you as a member of the association have not received an invitation letter, please write us.

The meeting is planned to take place in accordance to the hygenic Corona regulations.

Due to any changes of Corona restrictions a short notice cancellation of the meeting could be possible. Shortly before the meeting date you can obtain information on this site.

The Goodyear Blimps and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve will conduct their eighth joint maneuver next month benefiting the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation at the company's airship base in Florida. The event will provide the public with an opportunity to donate to Toys for Tots while enjoying an up close and personal view of the airship Wingfoot One inside the hangar in Pompano Beach.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company's newest blimp – Wingfoot Three – was christened today by Shaesta Waiz, the youngest woman to fly solo around the world in a single-engine aircraft. Waiz traveled more than 24,000 nautical miles over a five-month period in 2017 visiting 22 countries on her record-breaking solo flight.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company announced today that Shaesta Waiz, the youngest woman to fly solo around the world in a single-engine aircraft, will christen Wingfoot Three, the newest addition to its fleet of world-famous Goodyear blimps. The ceremony will be held on Aug. 30 at 2 p.m. ET at Goodyear's Wingfoot Lake Hangar which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
